Kelly Smith, RN, BSN, is Clinical Services Manager for Patient Security at Stanley Healthcare Solutions. She manages all clinical education for customers of the Hugs® infant protection, Pedz™ pediatric protection and Passport™ patient protection systems. Kelly has helped dozens of hospitals successfully launch patient security systems, and has authored a range of implementation guides and sample policies to assist hospitals in integrating patient security into clinical workflow. She has also written extensively for trade publications. Prior to joining Stanley, Kelly worked clinically in the fields of Women’s Health and Clinical Education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri.

Beth Stallings, BSN, is a Clinical Educator for Patient Security at Stanley Healthcare Solutions. Mrs. Stallings received her BSN from Maryville University in 2006 and her Bachelor’s in Communications, with an emphasis in Recreational Therapy, from the University of Missouri-Columbia, in 2004. Beth’s professional career as a nurse has consisted of a Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord RN - Pediatrics, Orthopedics, School RN, Travel RN - Pediatric Med Surg, and education in the field of Clinical Informatics. Mrs. Stallings content expertise has been valuable in course development for professional nursing as well as other hospital personnel in the prevention of patient abduction and elopement.
Lauren Horn RN, MSN

Lauren Horn RN, MSN, is a Clinical Educator for Patient Security at Stanley Healthcare Solutions. Mrs. Horn received her RN in 2002. Lauren received her MSN in Nursing Education from Webster University in 2006. Lauren’s professional career as a nurse has consisted of Surgical, Burn and Trauma Nurse in Pediatrics, Post-op Nurse, and Nurse Educator focusing on Pediatrics, Maternity, Elderly, Psychiatric, and Quality Improvement. She is currently focusing on clinical education in patient security. Mrs. Horn’s pediatric background and education expertise has been valuable in developing and delivering patient safety courses in the field of patient abduction and elopement prevention.
