Arial Central Monitoring Station

The Central Monitoring Station is a standard PC running the Arial software. It monitors all system devices, displays alarms, and sends alarm information to optional displays and pagers.

The Central Monitoring Station receives signals from resident pendants and other call points via the Wireless Receiver. The receiver is mounted on the wall near the PC, and is connected to the PC via a serial port connection. Download the Wireless Receiver brochure to learn more about this device.

When a call is received at the Arial computer, the software verbally announces a message and visually displays the call information. Arial's intuitive Windows® interface provides simple point-and-click operation. Report options include summaries, filtered data queries, or call activity and staff response time specifics.

Add the SerWatch™ watchdog for greater security
The SerWatch watchdog timer installs into the Central Monitoring Station to alert staff via a page message if the system loses power, if the software or computer is interrupted, or if it is shut down. Download the SerWatch watchdog brochure.

Infrastructure components

The basic Arial system consists of just a few wireless components, tested and installed by Stanley Healthcare Solutions’ team of factory-trained technicians.

Arial wireless repeaterWireless Repeater
The repeater increases the range of the Arial system for facilities that cannot be covered by the Wireless Receiver alone. The repeater picks up signals from resident pendants and other call points, and then retransmits the signals to the receiver. The number of repeaters required depends on the size of your facility. Stanley will conduct a thorough site survey to confirm this. Download the Wireless Repeater brochure.

Wireless Locator
Arial wireless locatorThis device enables you to determine the approximate location of a pendant alarm to help you quickly locate the resident. Locators add an identifying code to a pendant call signal, to specify the position of the closest locator(s) that received the signal. Download the Wireless Locator brochure.
