Multiple options for resident locating
The RoamAlert® system has several options to help you locate a resident within your facility. It’s a useful tool whether you need to locate all residents in an emergency, or just want to keep an eye on active residents who otherwise have full access to the amenities of your facility. Choose the location accuracy that’s right for you
RoamAlert offers you several different options for resident locating, depending on your specific needs and budget. You can also mix these different solutions in different parts of your facility.
- Last Known Location: Records when a resident has passed by specific spots in your facility, so that you have a general idea of their location: the floor and wing of a building, for example.
- Continual Locating: Information is updated in real time giving you an accurate location to within approximately 10 feet of the specific point shown on the map of your facility.
- Room-Level Locating: Real time location, while also identifying exactly which room the resident is in.
Easy to use
Information on a resident’s location is shown in the RoamAlert software. For Last Known Location applications, it is shown in the Census list, while for Continual or Room-Level Locating applications, the location is shown on the map of your facility.
