The RoamAlert™ system has several options to help you protect residents, staff and assets. With the addition of receivers installed at regular intervals throughout your facility, the RoamAlert system can monitor tags in real time, opening up a range of new applications.

Resident locating

Quickly locate all residents in an emergency, or keep an eye on active residents who otherwise have free access to the amenities of your facility.
RoamAlert offers you several different options for resident locating, depending on your specific needs and budget. Download the Resident locating overview brochure.

• Last Known Location: Records when a resident has passed by specific spots in your facility, so that you have a general idea of their location: the floor and wing of a building, for example.
• Real-Time Locating: Updates location information in real time, locating residents to within approximately 10 feet in a typical configuration.

Emergency response

The risk of falls, a medical emergency and even violence is an ever-present reality for senior care facilities. The RoamAlert system provides a reliable way for your residents to call for help from anywhere in your facility. Download the Emergency response overview brochure.

Residents carry a small pendant tag. To call for help, they simply push the button on the face of the tag. An alarm message is immediately relayed to the RoamAlert software. Residents can move freely, secure in the knowledge that help is always at hand.

Mobile equipment monitoring

Senior care facilities are full of mobile medical and safety devices that are essential to providing care… but also difficult to manage. Each device to be monitored is equipped with a wireless InterTag that connects to the device via a standard dry contact closure. When the device goes into alarm, the InterTag immediately sends out an alarm message to the RoamAlert system.

Alarms are displayed in the RoamAlert software with complete information on the device and location, so that staff can respond quickly and with complete knowledge of the situation.
