Hugs baby tagging

Make your infant protection complete with Kisses™ mother/infant matching

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

Kisses TagThe optional Kisses component of the Hugs™ infant protection system is an easy and effective support to manual matching-band systems for pairing infants with their mothers. Download the Kisses Feature Sheet.

Here’s how it works. Each mother wears a small, comfortable Kisses tag. It is bonded with her infant’s Hugs tag at birth and for the duration of their hospital stay. Every time the two are brought together, an audible signal from the infant’s tag immediately alerts you of a mismatch—even if there are other infants in the room.

There’s nothing to visually check or match, just the clear sound of the Kisses component to ensure that you always deliver the right baby to the right mother.

Key features of Kisses:

  • Automatic and audible match indication: no buttons to press & no numbers to match
  • Check a match anywhere at any time*
  • Use and reuse any Hugs tag with any Kisses tag
  • Supports multiple births
  • Software alarms for a mismatch

* Match or mismatch information is only captured by the system if the match is performed within the Hugs coverage area.
