Premier Healthcare Alliance Expands STANLEY Healthcare's Preferred Provider Status
WALTHAM, Mass., July 16, 2013 – STANLEY Healthcare, a market leading provider of safety, security and operational efficiency solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that its preferred provider status with Premier healthcare alliance has been expanded to more purchasing groups. STANLEY Healthcare’s Temperature Monitoring and Humidity Monitoring solutions, originally offered to Premier’s IT purchasing group, are now also available to members of Premier’s Pharmacy and Dietary purchasing groups.
The Premier healthcare alliance is a quality and cost improvement alliance of more than 2,800 U.S. hospitals and 95,000 other healthcare sites.
STANLEY Healthcare’s Wi-Fi Asset Tracking and Management solution and Temperature and Humidity Monitoring solutions already have preferred provider status for Premier’s IT purchasing group. Under the expanded contract, STANLEY Healthcare’s Temperature Monitoring and Humidity Monitoring solutions are now also available to Pharmacy and Dietary departments within member healthcare organizations.
STANLEY Healthcare’s Wi-Fi Temperature and Humidity Monitoring solutions automate the monitoring of environmental conditions. The solutions are used by leading healthcare organizations around the world to monitor the temperature of refrigerators that contain medications, vaccines, blood, food or other critical items to prevent spoilage; to monitor the temperature of equipment that generates heat, such as digital x-ray machines, to prevent failures; and to monitor the temperature or humidity of rooms such as operating rooms, patient rooms or server rooms. Moreover, the solutions work with a hospital’s standard Wi-Fi network, which speeds deployment and reduces total cost of ownership.
