STANLEY Healthcare Announces Enhanced Centralized E-Call Platform for Integrating Resident Safety, Facility Management and Building Automation Systems

New Software for Arial E-call Solutions to Extend Capabilities for Senior Living Communities

WALTHAM, Mass., September 30, 2013 — STANLEY Healthcare, a market leading provider of safety, security and operational efficiency solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced the availability of new software for its Arial Emergency Call (E-call) solution, giving senior living communities a central software platform to integrate resident safety, facility management and building automation systems.

In addition to supporting wireless Nurse Call functionality from fixed call points and portable pendants for Emergency Call, the enhanced STANLEY Healthcare Arial 8.1 solution integrates Wander Management and Fall Management alarms, Facility Monitoring (Smoke Detection, Temperature Monitoring and Flood Monitoring), and secondary annunciation of alerts from Access Control Systems, Intrusion Alarm Panels, Fire Panels and other Building Automation Systems.

The software offers several key features to improve care, reduce risk and raise staff efficiency for better financial performance:

  • Integration of multiple systems, with a single user interface for central management;
  • Support for existing nurse call solutions, including wireless devices and call points from existing hard-wired nurse call systems; 
  • Remote event notification via IP phones, pagers, display signs, e-mail and text message;
  • Advanced reports engine for easier compliance reporting & resident planning, with scheduled reports and automatic forwarding to e-mail;
  • True client/server structure for scalability to cover one small area or an entire campus.
