"Biomedical engineering departments were the early adopters of RTLS solutions, and we enjoy collaborating with our biomed customers to drive further improvements in the tracking and management of healthcare technology and equipment,” said Joel Cook, healthcare solutions director at STANLEY Healthcare. "By applying RTLS and business analytics capabilities—including medical device system integrations—hospitals and health systems can attain an even higher level of visibility and insight into their healthcare equipment. Whether it’s directly through maps and real-time notification or indirectly through business intelligence and process improvement, STANLEY Healthcare is proud to offer solutions that can turn rich information into meaningful change within healthcare organizations.”

At AAMI in Philadelphia, STANLEY Healthcare will be showcasing a number of newer solutions and enhancements to its core MobileView software platform, including the new MobileView 5.0 software. MobileView gives hospitals real-time visibility into the status of equipment, patients and staff, as well as insight into complex processes to drive improvement in:

•           Asset Management with software integration to infusion pumps and other medical devices for real-time monitoring of location and status, as well as advanced analytics to improve equipment distribution, utilization and allocation, maintenance completion, and recalls.

•           Environmental Monitoring for continual monitoring of temperature, humidity and voltage conditions for critical applications, such as storage of pharmaceuticals and blood products and conditions in the OR.

•           Patient Flow optimization for hospitals and clinics through monitoring status, location, and interactions between patients, staff, equipment and rooms.

STANLEY Healthcare will also be demonstrating advanced MobileView Analytics business intelligence dashboards to optimize workflows. Using visual analytics powered by Tableau Software, the global leader in rapid-fire business intelligence software, MobileView Analytics provides intuitive views and dashboards with key performance indicators. It also enables users to drill down to specific data points and create new views on the fly to understand trends in asset utilization, temperature and humidity conditions, the flow of patients and staff and hand hygiene compliance rates.
