Interoperability with Ascom Unite Messaging Suite® supports improved staff communication and faster response to patient/resident needs
WALTHAM, Mass., December 15, 2015— STANLEY Healthcare, a market leading provider of visibility solutions and analytics for the healthcare industry, today announced interoperability with the Ascom Unite Messaging Suite from Ascom Wireless Solutions, a leading supplier of Healthcare Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions. The integration expands the STANLEY Healthcare Partner Ecosystem of application, infrastructure and technology partners focused on providing healthcare organizations with seamless, fully interoperable solutions for improved care and efficiency.
The integration enables alerts from STANLEY Healthcare’s AeroScout® Real-Time Location System (RTLS) solutions to be sent to staff members on a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones, via Ascom Unite. Applications include staff assist, asset management, infant and patient protection and alerts to out-of-range temperature conditions in refrigerated storage units.
The direct access to this critical information on the location, condition and status of assets, staff and patients enables healthcare providers to make better and more coordinated decisions for streamlined workflows and better patient care. The addition of real-time location data from STANLEY Healthcare’s solutions further extends the reach of Ascom Unite, a powerful middleware platform that connects mission-critical systems with mobile staff members, delivering advanced two-way messaging to a variety of mobile devices.
