STANLEY Healthcare Selected by Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services (MAGNET) for Expanded Solutions to its 9,500 Members
WALTHAM, Mass., July 18, 2013—STANLEY Healthcare, a market leading provider of safety, security and operational efficiency solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that it has been awarded a new three-year contract with the Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services (MAGNET), upon the selection of a range of STANLEY Healthcare solutions. The contract extends an existing relationship between MAGNET and STANLEY Healthcare for InnerSpaceÒ Storage Solutions. The new contract also adds STANLEY Healthcare’s Bed-CheckÒ Fall Management Solutions and AeroScoutÒ Wi-Fi Real-Time Location System (RTLS) and solutions – the first RTLS contract awarded by MAGNET on behalf of its 9,500 members.
MAGNET is one of the oldest, largest and most experienced shared service organizations in the country. It serves hospitals, alternate care facilities, physician practices and clinics with a contract portfolio that includes equipment, services, commodities and other products.

MAGNET, founded in 1979, is the “Other GPO” serving through its GPO member groups approximately 9,500 providers.
