In July, STANLEY Healthcare announced that it was becoming a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Today we were immensely pleased to hand over a check for $40,000 to the Association representing our total financial contribution for 2017 based on employee fundraising activities and a donation for every WanderGuard BLUE solution sold this year. The relationship with the Alzheimer’s Association is close to our hearts. Through it, we live out our stated purpose: “For Those Who Make the World Caring.” Dozens of STANLEY Healthcare employees from our Lincoln, NE, office have participated for years in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s.This year they were joined by STANLEY Healthcare teams in the Walks in Cambridge, MA, Philadelphia and many other locations around the country.
As an organization, we’ve worked with thousands of senior living organizations over decades to help them create safe environments for delivery of memory care services. When we launched our new generation of wander management solution, WanderGuard BLUE, it felt only natural to dedicate a portion of our sales to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s and provide support services for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
We are grateful for the work done by the Alzheimer’s Association, and proud to contribute to their essential work in ridding the world of this terrible disease.
