Independent living and assisted living residents have access to Arial personal pendants the enable them to call for help from anywhere in the community. Resident rooms are also equipped with call stations. Memory care residents who may be at risk of wandering are individually protected by the WanderGuard BLUE solution to keep them from entering a location where they might be in danger.
The two systems are fully integrated, with alerts available to staff member on both workstations and the Arial Mobile Application. The application makes it possible to measure the “encounter time” between a caregiver and resident, a valuable new metric and data set to understand the resident experience. The Arial Management Dashboard is another innovative tool for continual improvement in care delivery. Harnessing the power of real-time analytics, the dashboard visualizes performance against key benchmarks for resident safety and security – such as average response times and response times that exceed a certain threshold, alarm types, quantities and distribution – while also enabling a more nuanced understanding of each individual resident through their call history.
