We have taken a number of steps to mitigate the impact of the outbreak on our customers, employees and the community. We are confident of our ability to keep our commitments to customers in a safe and responsible manner.
In particular, we are focused on three key areas:
- Keeping our team safe: For all services delivered in person on customer sites, we are observing WHO and CDC guidelines for personal prevention techniques. All essential visits will be from Sales and Service staff credentialed to be on your site, and specific protocols you may have in place will be followed strictly.
In addition, we have taken specific measures to protect the health of employees at our production facilities and in the field, including appropriate protective equipment. An internal task force is monitoring the situation daily and we are ready to react quickly to any change in status.
- Maintaining operational effectiveness: We are working with companies and service providers throughout our supply chain to make sure that we maintain the capacity to meet customer needs. Our support structure for customers, including sales, service and support, remains fully operational.
- Doing our part to contain the spread: Finally, we have taken a number of steps across our employee base to help slow the spread of the virus. We are strictly limiting gatherings, reducing travel to essential trips to serve customers, and maximizing the use of virtual and remote tools.
