Sensor tags are used in multiple healthcare departments such as laboratory, medical-surgical floors, pharmacies, operating rooms and blood banks as well as food service areas. The sensor tags enable users to accurately monitor environmental conditions, including ambient temperature, humidity, contact sensors, and voltage levels and use standard Wi-Fi networks to determine the asset’s location and transport the sensor data, and do not require dedicated or proprietary sensor networks.
Sensor tags are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), endorsed by the European Hematology Associations (EHA) and use sensors certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
